Lets hope the sea front is looking alot better in time for the beginning of the summer season.
Can anyone tell me when the boat's first start there cossings to the beach, did weekend break in November 09' no boat crossing!

Not sure about the boat crossings during the winter - but will try and find out when we go back to check on the progress. It's always worth asking at one of the local cafes or shops as there's normally someone prepared to take people across even if the "official" water taxi isn't running. We hope it will be looking a lot better for summer as well but will keep you posted.
Visited up to 6th May, front looking fanastic now, all traffic free, decking all along the front with new street lighting and seating.
I agree with Shelia- Cabanas is now looking great! The locals and tourists all enjoy promenading and the cafes are great just to sit and watch the world go by. What a lovely improvement to a lovely place.
myself and other half are going to cabanas end august would love if someone could send me some up to date photos have been to cabanas quite a few years now love it its so relaxing love the donna innes restaurant and the one near the sky bar wish i could afford a place ther maybe wen i retire lol
