The weather is  lovely this week - blue skies and lots of sun! I have just checked the temperature outside in the sunshine and it is a toasty warm 26°C at midday! It is cool at night, but that's a small price to pay for being able to get out and enjoy the lovely days. The sun sets at around 5.30pm these days, so still plenty of hours to enjoy the weather.

We visited a friend who lives near Aljezur yesterday and had a lovely walk through the countryside, followed by 'brunch' on the terrace in the sunshine.  Winter and Christmas seemed a million miles away! We are going to Monte Gordo today to find out what's going on there over Christmas and New Year - we'll post details in the Christmas forum  when we get back - so it looks like we'll just have to enjoy another day out in the sun!
