The weather is lovely! Here's this weeks update with more photos to show you what we mean! Sunday was particularly hot reaching a somewhat amazing 44°C in the sun on our balcony! We took a photo of the thermometer reading to prove it!

Still a few fluffy clouds around but mainly sunny.

23rd October 2009:

21°C in the shade

32°C in the sun

This was quite early in the day but later in the morning the sky was clearer although there were some clouds around all day.

A glorious day with clear blue skies. The sea was so calm it looked like a mirror. We went to Praia da Rocha in the morning and not surprisingly there were lots of people enjoying the beach

Today's photo is of Portimão river front as we went to the Mamamaratona fun run and walk. Hundreds of people turned out to enjoy a rather hot walk or run for the Algarve Cancer Association.

We couldn't believe the temperature either so checked using both our thermometers and then took a photo to prove it!

Back to the cliffs for today's photo, and back to more normal temperatures! A glorious day and the cliffs are now looking a lot greener than at the beginning of the month. It's amazing what 2 days of rain can do!
