The first week of January 2008 has gone already, so time for a weather update!
New Year was dry and mild, so it was perfect for everyone out celebrating on New Years Eve. Hundreds of people (complete with bottles of bubby!) made their way to the water front in Lagos for the firework display at midnight, then the parties carried on until the wee (or not so wee!) hours.

Since then the weather has been a bit changeable with a few heavy downpours in the middle of the week, followed by scattered showers. It has been generally overcast, although still warm (17-18°C in the day).
