The last week in November already! It's been a slightly mixed bag this week with the mornings starting rather well with blue skies and sunshine but tending to become overcast in the afternoons - we've even had some rain! It's felt pleasantly warm most of the week but we have lit the fire twice in the evenings - well, we have to keep old Hobbes (the dog) warm!

November 24th 2009:

19°C and mostly cloudy

A fresh start to the day - 9°C at 8am with clear blue skies and sunshine, but by the time we got to the cliffs it had started to cloud over. The afternoon was clearer again with quite a lot of sunshine - a real mixed bag of weather today.

25th November 2009:

19°C in the shade

24°C in the sun

A lovely sunny, warm start to the day but the clouds came along by midday and we even had a very short rain shower.

26th November 2009:

19°C and mostly cloudy

Not too much in the way of sunshine today and quite breezy on the cliffs this morning - the first time we've worn a jacket on our morning expeditions.

27th November 2009:

18°C mostly cloudy

Another nice start to the day with some fluffy white clouds, blue skies and sunshine, but by midday there were some darker clouds and not much sun!

28th November 2009:

18°C in the shade

30°C in the sun

What a glorious day! Clear blue skies with just the occasional white fluffy cloud and hot in the sun! Oh - and Hobbes decided he wanted to be in the picture again!

Now I must apologise - I didn't get a picture for either the 29th or 30th of November. The 29th was quite a miserable day with heavy rain showers on and off all day. It wasn't particularly cold at 17°C, but my sorry excuse is that I just couldn't entice Hobbes much further than the front door as he really doesn't "do" rain now he lives in the Algarve!  I have no particular excuse for the 30th which was really a lovely, slightly crisp, sunny day! It only reached 17°C by early afternoon with the mid-morning just 14.5°C but the blue skies more than made up for the slight chill.
