December already! Firstly - apologies for the late update on the Algarve weather this month but we've been busy gathering information about what's happening over Christmas and New Year across the Algarve to let people know as early as possible. Also, of course, doing some of our own preparations for Christmas! Anyway - back to the weather here in the sunny Algarve! Still lots of sunshine around and average shade temperatures of 17°C reaching 23 to 25°C in the sun.

December 1st 2009:

18°C in the shade

26°C in the sun

Clear blue skies and sunshine.

December 2nd 2009:

19°C and mainly overcast

Early morning was lovely with blue skies but it did cloud over as the day went on and there was a shower of rain in the afternoon.

December 3rd 2009:

18°C in the shade

21°C in the sun

Quite a breezy day and some clouds interrupting the sunshine.

December 4th 2009:

16°C and cloudy

A cooler day today and quite breezy. The sun popped through the clouds occasionally. (Someone's dog taking himself for a walk along the cliffs!)

December 5th 2009:

17°C in the shade

24°C in the sun

A lovely day with clear blue skies and a light breeze. The sun moving towards Sagres is the tell tale sign that the photo was taken about 4.30pm!

December 6th 2009:

19°C in the shade

25°C in the sun

A few clouds around but a lovely day with lots of blue skies and sunshine. Even the light breeze was warm! (Hobbes is just admiring the view and soaking up the sun!)
