I said in the last update a week ago that 'it looked like rain' - well, it did! In fact it bucketed down! All night! The next few days were unsettled, some rain, some sun, but quite warm - around 18 to 19°C. The nights have been cooler, going down to 8°C some nights, but of course, we haven't had snow (unlike the UK!). Yesterday, Easter Sunday, was lovely and we could enjoy the Flower Torches Festival in São Brás de Alportel  in the sunshine.

Today is  blue skies and sunshine with just a touch of breeze occasionally and very clear - we could see the houses in Sagres from the cliffs this morning (about 30kms away) and I've got a lovely view of Monchique and the wind turbines at Foia from where I'm sitting now!
It looks as if the weather has settled now, but we will keep you updated.
