Here we are on the last day of  September and it's another lovely hot, sunny day. Last Sunday and Monday was a bit hit and miss with some heavy showers although they didn't last long and the rest of the week was sunny - then we got to this weekend and things took a turn for the worse!  Saturday was showery, getting worse towards the evening and Sunday was some of the worst rain we've had! It was non-stop all day (and most of the night) with rumbling thunder to accompany the downpour! It was one of those days when there's nothing for it but to put on a DVD  and relax! 
In true Algarve style it was back to sunshine as usual by Monday and today is the same with the temperature in the mid 20's.
