The weather changed at the end of last week and we had quite a lot of rain for the last couple of days of October. However it soon returned to lovely sunny days although the temperature has dropped to around 18°C with the air feeling a little chilly out of the sunshine. In Alvor yesterday there were still people walking around in t-shirt and shorts though I have to say I had a jumper on when I was out of the sun! 
The clocks changed here to daylight saving time last Sunday so we are still on the same time as the UK, but it's not going dark until nearly 6pm so still plenty of hours for blue skies and sunshine. It certainly doesn't feel as if Christmas is looming in 7 weeks time.
