Since the last weather update on the 5th November we have had just one day with a couple of showers and one that was a bit overcast in the afternoon - not bad for winter in the Algarve! The rest of the time has been blue skies and sunshine. The daytime temperatures have been around 17°C to 18°C in the shade, but in the sun it has been between 24°C and 28°C!  Wednesday was the coolest day (14°C in the shade) as there was a bit of a cool wind so jumpers were the order of the day - but the skies were still blue.
Nightimes can be rather cool - early this morning it was just 8°C, but by 10am the sun had warmed up and it was glorious walking the dog on the cliffs. The Christmas lights are being switched on in Faro this weekend - it is very hard to remember that the festive season is nearly upon us - people in the Algarve are very relaxed about it - it will happen when it happens!
