It's been 10 days or so since I updated you on the weather here in the Algarve, but what more can I say except that the sun is shining, it's hot and definately beach weather still! We did have a shower of rain overnight on Tuesday which left Wednesday morning a little cloudy; but by the afternoon the clouds had cleared and it was back to normal!

The early mornings have been a bit 'fresher' this week - 14 to 15°C about 8am, but by 10ish it's warmed up and in the sun on the balcony at the moment it's 29°C. We were in Loulé yesterday and had to resort to sitting in the shade of an umbrella when we stopped at a café as it was so hot! The air temperature was around 23°C but much hotter in the sun. When the evening comes the temperature can drop quite quickly, so you do need an extra layer to put on then
