Apologies for the gap in weather updates - but Christmas and New Year got in the way! December was quite a mild month with day temperatures mainly around  17/18°C.There were a few days of heavy showers and some overcast days, but also lots of days with blue skies and warm sunshine. By mid December it was already looking spring like on the cliffs with a carpet of yellow bermuda buttercups and patches of  white Sweet Alison. Christmas Day  was warm and sunny and we enjoyed  a festive drink on the balcony before lunch! The sunny days lasted until the last couple of days of the month when it turned a little showery, but it was dry for the New Year's Eve fireworks display along the waterfront in Lagos.
