Vila Real de Santo Antonio "Day of the City" parade
The parade commemorates the founding of the city in 1774 and gives scenes from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. It starts with the Marques de Pombal (the person responsible for the design of Vila Real) arriving in his coach and finishes with the Carnation Revolution of 1974.
