What to expect
Aquashow has two different water-park experiences at the same physical complex. Outdoors, the offering includes large slides, water rides, pools and children’s areas such as Aqualandia and Aquakids. Indoors, heated water, pools and slides create an alternative when an outdoor water-park day does not fit the season or your plans. They should not be treated as one interchangeable admission.
The complex is in Quarteira municipality-side countryside rather than on the beach promenade. Plan a direct journey to the water-park entrance from Quarteira, Vilamoura or the Almancil resort areas. A hotel booking at the complex has its own terms and does not justify assuming every visitor receives the same pool, park or leisure entitlement.
For the indoor park, admission is sold for a selected period and the operator separates some extras from the basic ticket. The playground and overhead obstacle activity are examples of facilities with separate access arrangements. Decide which elements matter to the group, then choose the right booking. This is especially helpful for mixed ages: the indoor spa and the larger slides have restrictions distinct from the younger children’s areas.
