Vale da Pinta occupies the inland golf landscape around Estômbar in Lagoa municipality. Its 18-hole Ronald Fream design uses a setting of olive, carob and almond trees, with doglegs that reward thinking about position before the approach. The course is a distinct round from nearby Gramacho, rather than a different name for the same layout. For visitors staying in Carvoeiro or Ferragudo, the pair offer an obvious comparison when planning several golf days without crossing the Algarve.
