About the course
The Els Club Vilamoura occupies the former Victoria course site, redesigned and rerouted by Ernie Els. The 18-hole layout combines a relatively flat setting with waste areas and water hazards, particularly across the back nine. Golf here is organised through a private club, giving it a different access arrangement from Vilamoura’s public courses. Players returning after a previous Victoria round should arrange a fresh club or eligible hotel reservation rather than expect their old booking arrangements to apply.
Limited packages are offered for Victoria Golf Resort & Spa guests, with conditions including a three-night stay, a round at the Old Course and a short booking window. Members’ guest arrangements also require advance identification through the club. A valid handicap certificate is requested, a forecaddie is mandatory and the clubhouse operates without cash payments. Have the club or eligible hotel confirm the access route before arranging a trip around a round here. Eligible guests can then organise their playing day, accompanying rounds and hotel plans as one coordinated visit.
