About the course
Laguna provides an open, water-influenced 18-hole round in Vilamoura. The operator describes links-style fairways, but the defining visitor decision is how to negotiate lakes, bunkers and exposed playing lines rather than simply choosing a seaside course by name. Several holes bring water close to the tee shot or approach, so careful club selection can matter as much as length. This is a separate course from Millennium, even though both sit within the same wider Vilamoura golf area.
The Vilamoura Golf site supplies a dedicated Laguna page, a hole-by-hole guide and direct reservation links. That makes it possible to compare its layout with the other courses before selecting a round. Older booking references may use Dom Pedro or Oceânico branding; those names do not describe extra courses. Reserve Laguna explicitly and provide the handicap information required by the golf operation. For a multi-round stay in Vilamoura or Quarteira, pairing its open setting with a more tree-lined course can create variety without building an itinerary around long transfers across the Algarve.
