The 18-hole, par 71 course developed from a Sir Henry Cotton concept and runs through gently undulating ground rather than steep hills. Olive, cork, carob, fig and almond trees give it a recognisably eastern Algarve setting. Water hazards and bunkers are positioned to influence the way golfers choose a line, while the old chapel beside the clubhouse is part of the site’s identity.
