About the course
Quinta da Ria is the coastal-facing 18-hole course at the golf complex of the same name near Vila Nova de Cacela. Its par 72 layout looks across the Ria Formosa towards the shore at Cacela, with bunkers and water hazards shaping the round. The lagoon landscape gives it a clear identity within the eastern Algarve golf offering. It is a different course from Quinta de Cima, which shares the wider site but takes a more inland route.
The golf team provides direct tee-time booking and visitor green-fee information for Ria and Cima. Practice areas, a golf shop, clubhouse services and tuition support the two full courses, while a separate nine-hole pitch-and-putt Academy Course offers a shorter format. Identify Ria explicitly when arranging a round; the name Quinta da Ria can also refer to the whole complex or nearby accommodation. Visitors based in Cabanas, Tavira, Monte Gordo or Vila Real de Santo António can consider the course without assuming they must stay on site. Arrange arrival at golf reception and keep any hotel or beach visit as a separate plan.
