About the course
Quinta de Cima turns inland from the coastal edge of the Quinta da Ria golf complex. The 18-hole Rocky Roquemore design uses broad fairways, bunkering and a stream that appears through much of the layout. Olive and carob trees maintain a strong connection to the surrounding eastern Algarve landscape. The par 72 course therefore offers a different setting from the Ria Course’s lagoon-side views, even though players arrive through the same wider golf operation.
The operator sells rounds on Ria and Cima through its direct reservation service and provides practice and teaching facilities at the complex. Name Cima when booking, especially if arranging several days of golf or comparing packages that use the resort name without specifying a course. There is also a separate nine-hole Academy pitch-and-putt layout, so beginner tuition or short-course practice should be discussed as a different activity. The address is Vila Nova de Cacela in Vila Real de Santo António municipality, making Tavira, Cabanas and Monte Gordo possible nearby holiday bases. Use the golf reception location for transport rather than the centre of any of those towns.
