About the course
Monte Rei’s North Course lies in the hills above Vila Nova de Cacela, with the Caldeirão landscape to the north and the Atlantic to the south. The 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature design follows valleys and uses trees and water to shape the route. Broad fairways give players room to choose a line, while the changing landscape keeps the round varied. The inland setting provides a countryside golf day for visitors based in the eastern Algarve, rather than a round within the centre of Vila Real de Santo António.
Direct tee-time reservations and golf-stay packages are available through the resort. Arrange the intended round, equipment needs and any practice access with the golf team, particularly when combining golf with accommodation. The resort extends across a large area, so use the golf reception details for arrival and allow for a separate journey from the coastal towns. Players staying in Monte Gordo, Castro Marim or Tavira can keep their existing holiday base and organise the course as a dedicated outing.
