About the course
Boavista occupies a resort setting on the western side of Lagos, making it convenient to compare with a stay in the town or nearby Praia da Luz. The 18-hole Howard Swan design has two distinct sections. The early holes climb through the development towards its high ground, while the later part descends through an area with lakes, streams and bridges. Ravine carries are a notable feature of holes six and eight, so golfers should choose tees that suit the shots they can comfortably play.
The golf clubhouse is the arrival point for players, with golf booking support, changing facilities and professional instruction. Separate putting, chipping and bunker greens provide different short-game practice options. The driving range is temporarily closed for essential repairs, so ask about warm-up arrangements if practising full shots is important to your day. Reserve the round and any lesson separately from a resort accommodation booking. For a mixed holiday party, Lagos and Praia da Luz offer different places to spend time before meeting the golfers again after their round.
