What to expect
Come na Gaveta makes a meal out of Portuguese-inspired petiscos rather than a single large main course. Sharing boards bring together cheeses, cured meats and tuna muxama, while smaller dishes range from octopus tempura to tuna tacos and prawns. The menu changes seasonally, but the emphasis remains on combining different plates around the table.
Find the town gastrobar on Avenida Dr. Mateus Teixeira de Azevedo. The group also has a separate restaurant, Come na Ilha, on Tavira Island. At the town venue, drinks and takeaway form part of the offer, and tables can be reserved directly. Shared boards and smaller plates let you choose the scale of the meal around your group.
