What to expect
A Discover Scuba experience introduces newcomers to breathing and moving underwater with an instructor. Visitors pursuing a qualification can choose the Open Water course, while already certified divers can book boat-dive formats or a refresher. These are separate levels of participation rather than a single general-access activity.
The centre is at the back of Sagres harbour, not at an Atlantic west-coast beach. Its diving area includes the coastal natural-park waters around Sagres, with the actual site chosen for the outing. The published programme also lists snorkel-equipment hire. Someone wanting a surface-only session should therefore ask for the snorkelling arrangement specifically instead of booking a scuba product.
