What to expect
Private and semi-private kitesurf lessons are offered for different experience levels. Beginners start with equipment and kite-control work rather than assuming they will immediately ride a board. The office and shop are on Avenida da Ria Formosa on the mainland; the island teaching area requires the short boat crossing and a walk along the beach.
SUP is a separate part of the programme, with guided Ria Formosa outings and board rental for paddlers who already have experience. Eolis also advertises WingSUP, using a handheld wing with a paddleboard. This should be booked by its own name: it is not automatically the same product as a hydrofoil wing lesson. Longer river outings have their own routes and arrangements.
