What to expect
Monchique Resort & Spa occupies a hillside position at Montinho beside the road between Portimão and Monchique. Suites have separate living space, and the outlook towards the hills and coast gives this substantial resort a very different setting from the Algarve’s beach hotels.
Pools, restaurants, a gym and a bookable spa support a stay centred on relaxation and the surrounding countryside. Family facilities include a seasonal children’s club; walkers and cyclists can also use the hotel as a base for exploring the Serra de Monchique.
