What to expect
The club is in the residential Vale das Laranjeiras area of Montenegro, away from Faro’s old-town centre. Squash is part of its regular court-hire offer, rather than a facility available only through a hotel stay. The club also offers tennis and padel and has changing rooms and a snack bar, making it possible for different players in a group to arrange their preferred sport at one venue.
Reserve directly with the club and specify squash rather than a tennis or padel court. Rackets and balls are available to rent, useful if an active session was not part of the original holiday packing. The rules require suitable sports clothing and appropriate court shoes, and private outside coaches may not give lessons on the courts. Non-members are welcome, but the court must still be booked and paid for; ask the team to confirm equipment and any first-visit formalities when reserving.
