What to expect
The family-owned bowling green provides lawn-bowls rinks, social roll-ups and competitions. Its visitor-fee arrangement offers a route to play without full membership, while tuition helps beginners get started. Facilities include a bar, covered eating area, toilets, changing rooms and greenside seating. This is outdoor bowls rather than indoor ten-pin bowling.
Arrange a social session, lesson or visiting-team game and describe your experience. Woods are available for hire, so you need not carry bowls on holiday. Two dedicated pickleball courts at the same complex are run as Pickleball Clube Alvor, with tuition and equipment available. Confirm the organiser and booking for your sport: a bowls session does not reserve pickleball court time.
