What to expect

Dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Encarnação, the church has a modest Baroque entrance area and a Manueline baptismal font described in the diocesan inventory. Its small scale sits naturally within Bordeira’s older village fabric.

Bordeira village is set inland from Praia da Bordeira. Use the village location for the church, and plan an exterior look unless a local opening is confirmed; the heritage listing does not establish a regular tourist interior timetable.
