What to expect
The club combines social bowls with Bowls Algarve competition and visits from touring teams. Its current home is Aldeia Azul at Ferrel, outside the centres of Luz and Lagos. Use that location when arranging a visit, particularly if older references to the Floresta name appear in holiday research. The club’s public invitation makes the social sessions suitable for people wanting to try the sport as well as regular players.
Arrange attendance through the club and say whether you are a beginner, an individual visitor or part of a group. The organisers offer help with the basics and supply playing equipment, so you do not need to travel with a set of bowls. Wear flat shoes without heels as requested for the surface. Touring sides and competition also use the venue; agree the appropriate session rather than arriving during a match expecting an unreserved rink.
