What to expect
The RYA programme includes Start Yachting, Competent Crew and more advanced practical training, plus shore-based theory and specialist short courses. These are instructional bookings with different prerequisites rather than ordinary sightseeing cruises. The school uses sailing yachts, with its base and standard course arrangements in Lagos marina.
Visitors can enquire about an introduction or choose a longer course that matches their existing sea time and goals. Own-boat tuition and focused coaching are separate options. The school’s published calendar should be treated as a course calendar, with advance enquiry rather than walk-in attendance.
