What to expect
The green is beside the restaurant on Rua Cristóvão Pires Norte, rather than within the Vale do Lobo resort. The club hosts social roll-ups, its own competitions, league fixtures and touring teams. Visiting players have a documented route onto the green without taking out full membership: the visitor arrangement covers roll-ups and individual or group games at the Club Captain’s discretion.
Check the diary when choosing a day, because competitions and touring sides share the green with casual play. Groups of four or more should check space in advance. Bowls can be hired when needed, which makes a session possible without carrying equipment on holiday. Longer stays can be considered against the club’s membership options, but an occasional visitor need not start with a full-membership application. Arrange the playing session with the club rather than assuming a restaurant booking also reserves the green.
