What to expect
The chapel was created in the 1950s through the efforts of local residents. Its significance lies in that village story and modest scale, offering a different kind of religious heritage from the richly carved parish churches nearby.
It stands at the entrance to Hortas do Tabual and is best included when already exploring the village and surrounding area. A regular interior tourist opening is not established, so the exterior is the realistic focus of a short stop.
